Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Driver to operate a cube truck or trailer on scheduled routes, delivering and removing residential carts to customers per company standards.

This role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections, load/unload carts, interact with customers, and follow safety policies. You will navigate with GPS, maintain logs, and help keep customer sites clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain a CDL.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Must pass safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Must be able to demonstrate safe driving and operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive pickup truck with trailer to deliver, swap, or retrieve carts along designated routes.
• Deliver carts to residential locations at curbside or back door.
• Inspect carts and assess customer sites for safety and compliance with standards.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Load/unload carts to/from trailer manually or with forklift.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to management.
• Maintain and submit logbooks, route productivity sheets, and vehicle reports as required.
• Maneuver truck into tight spaces using mirrors; use GPS to locate addresses.
• Follow safety policies and company regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
