Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure
• Measure materials and mark cutting lines on them according to blueprints
• Cut or shape materials using hand tools or power tools
• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using nails, screws, or adhesives
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, doors etc.
• Inspect individual parts during construction to ensure they are level and correctly installed
• Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures
• Follow safety guidelines at all times
