Chads Design Build in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced carpenter for full-time work on residential remodeling projects. You will perform carpentry on kitchens, baths, basements, additions, and whole-home renovations, with opportunities to learn from seasoned project managers.

The role requires solid carpentry skills, a focus on quality, and the ability to read plans. A dependable, team-oriented approach and a valid driver’s license are essential as you contribute to a collaborative shop

• Solid foundational carpentry skills with an interest in continuing to grow.
• Familiarity with construction plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work on residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and whole-home renovations
• Assist with framing, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other remodeling work
• Read and work from construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Work alongside experienced carpenters and project managers to keep projects moving
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
• Identify jobsite challenges and work with the team to find practical solutions
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and coworkers
• Continue developing your carpentry and remodeling skills through hands-on experience and training

What You'll Do
