Woodland Builders in Hanover, MA is seeking an experienced Residential Carpenter to join our hands-on team on remodeling and design-build projects.

You will perform framing, finish carpentry, trim installation, and related tasks, reading plans and following project details to deliver high-quality results in clients' homes. A strong focus on safety, reliability, and craftsmanship is essential for daily success.

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry experience required.
• 5 to 7 years of carpentry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings, plans, and measurements.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry on residential remodeling and construction projects.
• Complete framing, finish carpentry, trim installation, blocking, repairs, adjustments, and related tasks.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately.
• Read and follow plans, project details, measurements, and jobsite instructions.
• Support whole-home renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and other remodeling projects.
• Complete punch list items and final detail work as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while staying aligned with the project team.
• Coordinate with Lead Carpenters, Project Managers, subcontractors, and other team members as needed.
• Identify jobsite issues and communicate them promptly to the appropriate team member.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and company standards.
• Represent Woodland Builders professionally while working in clients' homes and on active jobsites.

Residential Carpenter

Pay: $34 to $38 per hour

About the Role

Woodland Builders is seeking an experienced hands-on Residential Carpenter to join our growing team.

The Carpenter will support residential remodeling and design-build projects by performing framing, finish carpentry, trim installation, punch list work, and other hands-on carpentry tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining Woodland Builders' high standards on every jobsite.

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to communicate jobsite needs or challenges
• Professional communication skills with team members, subcontractors, and homeowners
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• OSHA certification preferred, but not required
