Job summary

Able2 Enhancing Potential is seeking a Day Shift Residential Supervisor. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $21.00–$22.50 based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid/clean driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier.
• One or more years' experience working with the developmentally disabled.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to work in a high paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote person-valued outcomes of independence, inclusion, individualization and productivity.
• Directly supervise assigned residential staff; interview, appraisals, and disciplining as appropriate; assist in staff selection.
• Prepare staff schedules at least 2 weeks in advance; ensure proper coverage for all shifts and adapt for training needs.
• Supervise use of each person's funds and petty cash; ensure purchases follow policies and PO limits.
• Train staff on each person's Plan of Care and track progress.
• Assist in carrying out program/individual goals, feeding plans, toileting and direct care as needed.
• Attend IPPs and staff meetings; participate in staff training.
