Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. is hiring a Residential Specialist to provide direct care in a residential setting for individuals with IDD. Training is provided; no prior experience necessary for many positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
• Previous Experience working directly with individuals with IDD and Behavioral Health.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to successfully complete all required training programs.
• Ability to pass Criminal Record History Clearances, FBI, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• As a Residential Specialist, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Supporting daily living skills and independence.
• Helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Following individualized support plans and goals.
• Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care.
