Job summary

Signature Health is seeking a Specialist, Residential Care for a 7am-3pm shift to support residents in a residential facility. You will work with the clinical team to implement treatment plans and promote a positive therapeutic milieu.

You will provide daily care, assist with meals, organize activities, monitor medication administration, complete documentation in the electronic health record, and participate in team meetings. A valid Ohio driver’s license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience working in a residential facility or health care setting required.
• Valid unencumbered Ohio driver's license and proof of driver's insurance required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge or specialized training/experience in behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive and supportive therapeutic milieu at all times, remaining actively engaged with residents and staff.
• Provide daily support and care to residents, including assisting in meals, activities, transportation to appointments, and medication self-administration monitoring.
• Document each shift in the communication log and provide a verbal report to team members at shift change.
• Participate in team meetings with the clinical team to reinforce treatment plans.
