Job summary

Signature Health in Ohio is seeking a Specialist, Residential Care for the 3pm-11pm shift within a residential facility. You will work closely with the clinical team to support residents and contribute to a positive therapeutic milieu, while documenting care and participating in treatment planning.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of relevant experience, and BLS certification. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working in a residential facility or health care setting.
• Knowledge or specialized training/experience in behavioral health setting is preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive and supportive therapeutic milieu at all times, remaining actively engaged with residents and staff.
• Provide daily support and care to residents, including meals and snacks, and assist with activities.
• Monitor and document self-administration of medication in the electronic health record.
• Document each shift in the communication log and report to team members at shift change.
• Participate in team meetings with the clinical team to reinforce the treatment plan.
• Identify and report house maintenance issues to the Manager, Supervisor, or House Coordinator.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure client confidentiality; adhere to all agency policies.
