Job summary

Signature Health is seeking a Specialist, Residential Care for the 3pm-11pm shift to support residents in a clinical setting. You will work with the clinical team to carry out daily care tasks, assist with meals and activities, and monitor safety and treatment plans.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in a residential/healthcare setting, and a valid Ohio driver’s license. BLS certification is required, with opportunities for professional development and loan forgiveness

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working in a residential facility or health care setting.
• Knowledge or specialized training in behavioral health is preferred.
• A valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive and supportive therapeutic milieu at all times.
• Provide daily support and care to residents, including meals, activities, and medication assistance.
• Document shifts in the log and provide verbal reports at shift change.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute observations to treatment plans.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize public areas and assist with incident reports as needed.
• Ensure visitors are logged and follow agency policies; assist with emergency response.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in required trainings and meetings.
