Job summary

Grace Care Homes is seeking Direct Care Staff to support residents in a residential treatment setting in Oregon. You will administer medications, assist with ADL/IADL, prepare meals, and provide companionship while maintaining safety and compliance with OAR 309-035-0100 and relevant regulations.

Weekend shifts and a $22–$24 hourly pay range are offered, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience, preferably in a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in medication administration (passing, checking meds, counting, verifying with pharmacy/doctor).
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage medications in accordance with training and regulations.
• Assist with ADL's and IADL's as needed.
• Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean-living environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Accurately document resident progress and report unusual incidents.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Participate in ongoing training, health screenings, and professional development.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, education, and social activities.
