Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Must receive and maintain certification in Department of Community Health Group Home Skill Training.
• Must be able to understand written instructions and communicate effectively.
• Must read and follow medication charts.
• Must be physically able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the personal care and treatment of individuals with mental illness in residential or supported living settings.
• Support residents in daily living skills, medication management, documentation, and community participation.
• Attend mandatory team meetings and in-service training sessions.
