Job summary

ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Residence Program Specialist to support individuals in our residential facility. You will provide direct care, help with daily living skills, and promote a safe, respectful home environment. You will participate in treatment plans, document progress, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of related experience preferred but not required.
  • AMAP certification required at hire or within six months of date of hire.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License, maintained in good standing.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and supports to promote independence.
  • Ensure safety, health, and well‑being of residents.
  • Assist with ADLs and daily living skills.
  • Maintain a homelike, respectful atmosphere.
  • Document progress and incidents accurately and timely.
  • Respond to crises and medical emergencies; provide first aid.
