Job summary

Elwyn is seeking a Household Coordinator to oversee daily housekeeping, safety documentation, and supply management for community homes. The role includes supervising, advocating for residents, and assisting with medications under physician guidance.

You will support behavioral health consumers in daily living, coordinate with Milieu counselors, and ensure compliance with safety and health protocols. A valid driver’s license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree in Human Services preferred.
• Must maintain DHS approved Medication Administration Training Certification.
• One year of experience in behavioral health or forensic field preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and perform CPR/crisis intervention using agency protocols.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, driving record acceptable after DMV review.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean living environment through daily housekeeping.
• Provide daily cooking and menu planning based on dietary needs.
• Order supplies for the home and maintain documentation of upkeep.
• Conduct fire drills, inspections, and maintain related records.
• Administer medications as directed by physician after training completion.
• Interface with families, social services, and outside agencies to support residents.
• Assist with training and self-care development for maximum independence.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in interdisciplinary teamwork.
