Job summary

Elwyn in Pennsylvania is seeking a Household Coordinator to oversee daily housekeeping, safety documentation, and building/vehicle upkeep for community-based homes. You’ll supervise care, assist with medications per physician orders, and advocate for residents with outside agencies.

The role requires CPR and crisis intervention skills, a valid driver's license, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Human Services preferred.
• Must maintain DHS approved Medication Administration Training Certification.
• One year experience in the behavioral health or forensic field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team; CPR and crisis intervention proficiency.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have driving history acceptable to the employer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean living environment through daily housekeeping.
• Provide daily cooking and menu planning according to dietary needs.
• Order supplies for the home and manage purchases.
• Conduct fire drills and building inspections with proper documentation.
• Administer medications as directed after DHS-approved training.
• Advocate for residents with outside agencies and families as needed.
• Escort residents to appointments and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain logs, health records, and progress notes.
