Responsibilities include ensuring safety, managing transportation-related tasks, and maintaining compliance with privacy regulations. The role operates within a large NY-based Health and Human Services organization serving over 33,000 New Yorkers annually.

Qualifications

• Must achieve FDNY certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with substance use or mental health populations or lived experience.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and EHR.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the therapeutic environment to ensure guidelines are followed and a positive milieu.
• Manage daily program schedule of activities and ensure participation.
• Monitor facility for cleanliness, security, and safety practices.
• Conduct mandated fire drills/evacuations as needed.
• Administer breathalyzer tests and observe specimen collection as needed.
• Oversee medication management including checking-in and direct observation during medication pass.
• Conduct facility/safety runs and room checks for safety.
• Search rooms and personal property as per policy.
• Coordinate daily client reporting of attendance per DSS/HRA protocols.
• Dispatch vehicles with complete paperwork and prepare carfare distributions.
• Review appointments and ensure timely dispatch.
• Comply with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
