Job summary

Qualifications

• FDNY Fire Drill Conductor/Fire Guard/Fire Safety Coordinator within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with substance use or mental health populations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality across all duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the therapeutic environment to ensure behavioral guidelines are followed and the milieu remains positive.
• Manages daily program schedule of activities to ensure events occur as planned.
• Monitors facility for cleanliness, security, and safety practices.
• Conducts mandated fire drills/evacuations as needed.
• Administers breathalyzer tests or urine/oral specimens as clients return from external activities.
• Manages medication administration with direct observation of a client medication pass.
• Performs room checks for safety and condition of environment.
• Conducts searches of rooms and belongings as required by policy.
• Ensures proper dispatch of trips and agency paperwork is completed.
• Distributes carfare for external appointments.
