Job summary

Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center in Charlotte, NC seeks a Certified Counselor for our Residential Treatment program on the Swing Shift (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM). This full-time role requires CADC credentials and experience in ASAM Level 3.5 residential care, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based counseling and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Active CADC, CADC-I, or CADC-R (NCASPPB)
• Valid NC or SC Driver's License
• Familiarity with NC TOPPS, GPRA, EHR systems
• 1+ year direct SUD counseling experience
• Experience with PCPs, crisis planning, discharge
• Strong clinical documentation skills
• Associate's degree or higher in related field

Responsibilities

• Guide admissions with empathy and professionalism (including initial assessments)
• Develop, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate group sessions on relapse prevention and recovery education
• Complete PCPs, crisis plans, and discharge planning documentation
• Coordinate care within Anuvia and with community partners/families
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation including NC TOPPS and GPRA
• Participate in treatment team meetings, QA activities, and staff meetings
• Flex schedule as needed to support residential staffing ratio requirements
