The role emphasizes coaching, quality assurance, and collaboration with internal and outsourced teams to maintain Exacta standards across residential surveys.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associates/technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years in land surveying drafting or checking with CAD experience.
• Strong CAD operations, survey calculations, and boundary research knowledge.
• Ability to coach others, communicate feedback clearly, and ensure quality.
• Ability to manage complex reviews and balance workload with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review complex residential surveys for accuracy and compliance with Exacta standards.
• Coach drafting staff and provide constructive feedback to develop skills.
• Identify recurring issues and coach teams to prevent repeats.
• Provide real-time technical guidance on survey, boundary, and drafting matters.
• Coordinate with Professional Land Surveyors on boundary resolutions for review.
• Serve as a technical bridge between drafting staff and the PLS team.
• Support field crews with coordinate files and survey-related information.
• Attend weekly performance meetings to review productivity and quality metrics.
