Job summary
Bureau Veritas in Gainesville, GA seeks a Residential/Combination Building Inspector to inspect residential and commercial construction projects and report to the Area Inspection Manager. You will perform daily inspections and maintain accurate records while communicating with clients, staff, and contractors.
The ideal candidate has ICC Residential Combination Inspector certification, a minimum of 3 years in residential inspection, and a valid Georgia driver’s license; erosion control experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a residential construction inspector.
- ICC Residential Combination Inspector certification is required.
- Georgia driver’s license is required.
- Experience with erosion and sediment control inspections is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections on residential and commercial projects.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of inspections.
- Communicate with staff, citizens, builders and contractors as necessary.
- Maintain ICC certifications and pursue additional certifications.
