The role emphasizes de-escalation, accurate recordkeeping, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and adherence to program rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health care is preferred.
• A valid state driver’s license with clean record is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients continuously and log whereabouts for safety.
• De-escalate behavior and address client problems promptly.
• Provide emotional support and refer to therapy staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and update logs between shifts.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and adherence to program rules.
• Transport clients as needed and report safety concerns.
