Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support adults with co-occurring diagnoses in a residential setting. The role involves around-the-clock milieu supervision, documentation, and assisting the medical team in care activities.

Primary duties include maintaining a therapeutic environment, transporting clients, managing supplies, and facilitating non-clinical group sessions within scope.

Qualifications

• One year experience in behavioral/mental health fields preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Ability to follow safety and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support in a residential treatment facility.
• Maintain 24/7 supervision of the milieu and assist in therapeutic initiatives.
• Assist medical/nursing team with observations and vitals.
• Document client behaviors and program participation clearly.
• Support group sessions within scope of practice.
