Job summary

Palmer Addiction Recovery Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Technician to monitor residents in a residential treatment setting, support therapeutic goals, and maintain safety and order. You will facilitate program activities, document observations, and assist with admissions and discharge procedures.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, Oklahoma driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality per policies and laws.
• Follow dress code and professional boundaries.
• Monitor facility and consumers and ensure on-schedule activities.
• Facilitate groups as assigned.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain shift logs and communicate with next shift and Treatment Team.
• Transport participants to appointments and activities per agency policy.
• Conduct intake and discharge procedures and orient new clients.
• Perform daily room and hourly bed checks as required.
• Participate in ongoing staff development and training.
• Maintain knowledge of agency policies and safety procedures.
• Assist in medication management as needed (CMA Certified Behavioral Health Technicians only).
• Assist in meal preparation and kitchen duties as needed.
