Pasadena Villa Great Lakes in Battle Creek, MI seeks an entry-level Behavioral Health Technician to assist with client care, safety, and the therapeutic milieu across day and evening shifts. You will document in client records, coordinate with clinicians, and support daily activities in a residential psychiatric setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's preferred) and at least 1 year of behavioral healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Actively engages clients in the milieu and group settings.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and attends meals with supervision.
• Maintains therapeutic environment and documents in client records.
• Communicates with clinical team and supervisor as needed.
• Recognizes mood changes and supports crisis de-escalation when necessary.
• Performs chart audits and adapts to facility changes as required.
• Supports discharge processes and client safety throughout shifts.
