Job summary
Oasis Luxury Smart Homes in Anaheim, CA is seeking an AV Technician to install and program high-end residential systems. You’ll work with lead techs to wire, configure, and test smart-home setups from rough-in to handoff, ensuring flawless performance for discerning clients.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in residential AV or home automation, knowledge of Control4/Crestron/Savant/JoshAI, solid networking skills, and the ability to read drawings.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of residential AV installation experience.
- Proficiency with Control4, Crestron, Savant and/or JoshAI.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (routers, switches, IP addressing).
- Experience reading construction drawings and wiring schematics.
- Comfort with ladders, lifts, and hand/power tools.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, solutions-focused.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure AV and smart-home systems including Control4, Savant, JoshAI or Crestron.
- Pull, label, and terminate structured wiring for audio, video, and network systems.
- Mount TVs, speakers, racks, and related components with precision.
- Configure routers, switches, and wireless networks for optimal performance.
- Assist with basic programming and troubleshooting of automation platforms.
- Perform quality checks and system testing before handoff to project management.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Communicate clearly with clients, builders, and teammates.
