We are seeking a qualified candidate interested in joining our Residential Service Group Home team at our Bennett House location in Wilmington, Delaware.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, M-F and 12P-8P shift
Hire requirements include attending a day-shift new hire and orientation training during the first five (5) days of the workweek, Monday through Friday, at our Philadelphia location. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
The Residential Associate Clinician will provide coordination and guidance, counseling, and encouragement to participants as they transition from residential services to a more independent environment.
Some additional responsibilities would include the following:
Assist with the presentation in case conference for assigned participants.
Provide ongoing assessment of participant’s mental illness symptoms and their responses to recovery to ensure that immediate and appropriate interventions are provided.
Participate in staff planning, training and internal/external administrative meetings.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse systems and supports.
Ability to work independently.
Good communication skills both oral and written.
Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Scope:
Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which includes direct intervention with participants.
Frequent talking and listening.
Ability to climb and descend stairs.
Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
Requires crisis intervention in emergency situations.
May be required to report to work during emergencies including inclement weather.
