Job summary

Amego School in Franklin, MA is hiring Assistant Teachers to ensure student safety and implement educational and behavior programming under the guidance of the head teacher and BCBA. Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's License required.
• Ability to implement behavioral support strategies and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational opportunities with the firm belief that everyone is capable of learning.
• Teach students as directed by the head teacher.
• Follow student behavior plans as directed by the BCBA.
• Report to residential group home worksites to assist students in preparing for school.
• Assist students with toileting and showering as needed.
• Perform physical management strategies to keep students and others safe from challenging behaviors.
• Observe and safeguard student rights as mandated reporters.
• Participate in the general upkeep of the school and residential group homes.
• Write incident reports as necessary and to company standards.
