Job summary

NARA Northwest is seeking a Residential Assistant to provide direct support and supervision to adults in residential substance use treatment. You will promote a safe, recovery-focused environment and assist with daily living activities, treatment participation, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Active auto insurance.
• Over the age of 23 per policy.
• Ability to drive agency vehicles including passenger vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to clients during daily residential activities.
• Encourage participation in recovery activities and programs.
• Conduct routine client checks, facility rounds, safety inspections, and grounds checks.
• Monitor safety concerns and report incidents.
• Facilitate medication distribution and maintain MARs.
• Complete daily logs, shift and incident reports, and required documentation.
• Protect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Assist with admissions including room preparation and orientation.
• Make referrals to community resources.
• Assist with front desk phone coverage.
• Transport clients to approved appointments or recovery meetings.
