Job summary

Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS) is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager to provide site leadership for a new licensed Residential Care Home in Lyndon, Vermont. This role supports the Residential Manager and helps maintain daily operations for adults with developmental disabilities and other residents.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in human services and 1–2 years of supervisory experience in residential care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of administrative or supervisory experience in residential care preferred.
• A plus for demonstrated experience working with individuals who are developmentally disabled.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Residential Manager in the overall operation of a licensed Residential Care Home, including shared on-call responsibilities.
• Assist with maintaining adequate staff, supervising and scheduling staff in the exercise of their duties.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable regulations and NKHS policies, prioritize resident safety, and maintain a safe, home-like environment.
• Provide for the needs of the consumers.
