Job summary

Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS) is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager to provide site leadership for a newly licensed Residential Care Home in Lyndon Vermont. You will help oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, and resident safety, with on-call responsibilities that may include nights and weekends.

The role offers hands-on leadership of a small team serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with opportunities to develop toward a manager-level position.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services field or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of administrative and/or supervisory experience in residential care preferred.
• Experience working with individuals who are developmentally disabled is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Residential Manager in the overall operation of a licensed Residential Care Home, including shared on-call responsibilities.
• Maintain adequate staff to meet program requirements; supervise, schedule and support staff in duties.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable regulations and NKHS policies.
• Prioritize resident safety.
• Maintain facilities in a safe, clean, home-like manner.
• Provide for the needs of the residents.
