Job summary

Sears Home Services in Columbus, OH is seeking a Residential Appliance & Refrigeration Field Service Specialist to diagnose and repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves at customers' homes. You will travel to multiple homes daily and deliver an exceptional experience.

You will keep a well-stocked service vehicle, order parts via our app, and participate in training programs. This role requires flexibility, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED or EPA certification readiness.
EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools.
Hands-on experience servicing home appliances preferred.
Commitment to safety, quality, and process standards.
Comfort using a smartphone for parts ordering and app use.
Valid driver's license for the state(s) of work.
Ability to travel up to 100% and work flexible hours including overtime.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves in customers' homes.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences and clear communication.
Recommend value-added solutions to keep homes clean, comfortable, and protected.
Maintain an organized, well-stocked company vehicle and manage parts.
Take on additional duties to support the team and customers.
