Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in a senior living setting preferred.
• Current CBRF certifications or willingness to obtain: Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Administration.
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, and toileting.
• Support medication administration under nurse supervision and document services.
• Monitor changes in resident condition, weight, nutrition, and well-being.
• Assist with meals, dining services, hydration, and nutritional support.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and apartment organization.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and safety needs.
• Encourage participation in recreational and community activities.
• Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
