Program Summary

Roger Sherman House is a residential treatment program providing individualized services for adult males with problematic sexual behaviors preparing to leave the criminal justice system. The goal is to educate individuals on managing their behaviors.

Position: Residential Aide

Location: New Haven

Salary: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Part Time, 8 hours, 1st shift, Sunday (7-3p)

Position Summary

The Residential Aide provides direct client care, supporting activities of daily living, safety, health, and wellness. They assist staff and foster respectful relationships with residents, maintaining a safe, harm-free environment. They work with Community Justice staff to rehabilitate, educate, and guide clients from incarceration back into the community.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
  • Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
Orientation

New hires will attend a two-day mandatory orientation at our Middletown office.
