Job summary

CHC Addiction Services in Akron, OH, is seeking full-time Residential Aides for RAMAR, our men’s residential facility. The facility operates 24/7, including holidays and overnights, and we need staff to cover all shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, case management, transportation, and crisis intervention as needed. Minimum requirements include the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, a high school diploma, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BA with CDCA preferred.
• Experience with drug and alcohol recovery process.
• Clean driving record.
• Training in First Aid and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and direct residents to follow house rules and CHC policies.
• Provide case management and transportation for residents to appointments/activities.
• Assist with nightly security procedures.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Document shift activities and residents' behavior in the residential log book.
