Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Residential Aide to work in the Oakland Gardens area. The role involves implementing person-centered services and supporting individuals in daily activities to achieve goals and community inclusion.

You will be responsible for the individual's overall physical and emotional well-being, with a schedule Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm. Requirements include a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of experience with the DDD population.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience working with the DDD population.
• Possess strong teaching skills with emphasis on individuals who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged.
• Ability to complete and pass clearances.
• Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred).

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for implementing person-centered services for each individual.
