Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Residential Aide to work in the New City area. The role involves instructing individuals to promote growth and supporting developmentally disabled clients in a day program setting. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-3pm.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least one year experience with the DDD population; training in applied behavior analysis is preferred. You will assist with medications, meals, and transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience working with the DDD population.
• Ability to complete and pass clearances.
• Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred).

• Deliver care and services in a climate of normalization, caring and concern.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• The Behavioral Health Residential Aide is responsible for providing instruction to individuals to promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth. As a Behavior Health Professional you will be working with the developmentally disabled population in a day program setting.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with the DDD population
• Possess strong teaching skills with emphasis on individuals who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged
• Ability to complete and pass clearances
• Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred)
