Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment and behavioral health services. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable Residential Aide for a part-time Saturday shift (7:00am – 11:00pm) in Maryland.

The role involves monitoring all clients during shifts, conducting rounds, ensuring the daily schedule is followed, and assisting with intakes, room searches and mealtimes while observing and documenting medications and urinalysis as needed.

Competenze

• Observe, identify, document and inform others of physical, cognitive or behavioral changes.
• Understands addiction, mental health and recovery concepts.
• Prior experience in a Behavioral Health setting is a plus.
• Open to learning ASAM criteria, Stages of Change, 12-step recovery, etc.

Mansioni

• Monitor all clients during assigned shift.
• Conduct regular rounds around the property.
• Ensure daily program/schedule is followed.
• Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes.
• Observe and document medications taken or refused by clients.
• Monitor and observe supervised urinalysis as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff and supervisors.
• Inform program staff of clients’ current challenges or behavioral issues.
• Provide accurate information during shift changes (written and verbal).
• Attend team meetings as necessary/scheduled.
• Adapt quickly to schedule, routine and assignment changes.
• Deescalate when needed and maintain ethical boundaries with clients and staff.
• Abide by HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, part-time Residential Aide to join our team!

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful, independent living.

Hours:

• Part-time
• Saturday - 7:00am - 11:00pm

Responsibilities include:

• Is responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
• Ability to conduct regular "rounds" around the entire property.
• Ensures the daily program / schedule is being followed.
• Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
• Observes & documents all clients taking and/or refusing prescribed or over the counter medications.
• Monitor & observe supervised urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
• Communicates in a professional manner with all clients, staff & supervisors.
• Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
• Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
• Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
• Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
• Ability to deescalate.
• Ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
• Understands & abides by HIPAA guidelines / requirements at all times.

Qualifications include:
