Project Chesapeake in Maryland is seeking a part-time Residential Aide for a male level 3.1 setting. The role involves supervising clients during the Saturday shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm, monitoring daily routines, and supporting new intakes.

You will document changes, maintain HIPAA compliance, and work with a team to promote a safe, sober living environment. Prior experience in behavioral health is a plus; training on ASAM criteria, stages of change, and 12-step programs will be provided.

Qualifikationen

• Prior Behavioral Health experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Monitor all clients during the assigned shift.
• Conduct regular rounds around the property.
• Ensure the daily program and schedule are followed.
• Assist with intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes.
• Observe and document all medications taken or refused.
• Monitor and observe supervised urinalysis as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and supervisors.
• Inform staff of clients' current challenges or behavioral issues.
• Provide accurate information during shift changes through written and verbal updates.
• Attend team meetings as scheduled.
• Adapt to changes in schedules, routines, and assignments.
• Deescalate when needed.
• Maintain ethical and professional boundaries.
• Comply with HIPAA at all times.

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, part-time Residential Aide to join our team in a male level 3.1 setting! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful, independent living.

Hours:

• Part-time
• Saturday - 7:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities include:

• Is responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
• Ability to conduct regular "rounds" around the entire property.
• Ensures the daily program / schedule is being followed.
• Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
• Observes & documents all clients taking and / or refusing prescribed or over the counter medications.
• Monitor & observe supervised urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
• Communicates in a professional manner with all clients, staff & supervisors.
• Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
• Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
• Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
• Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
• Ability to deescalate.
• Ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
• Understands & abides by HIPAA guidelines / requirements at all times.

Qualifications include:

• Understands the field of addiction, mental health & recovery.
