Project Chesapeake is seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and professional part-time Residential Aide for a female Level 3.5 location. The role involves monitoring clients, conducting rounds, and ensuring daily schedules are followed within a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with intakes, room searches, mealtime monitoring, medication observation, and documenting client status. The position requires HIPAA compliance and strong communication with staff and clients.

Formación

• Ability to observe, identify, document, and inform others about physical, cognitive or behavioral changes.
• Understanding of addiction, mental health and recovery.
• Familiarity with ASAM criteria, Stages of Change, 12 step recovery is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor all clients during assigned shift.
• Conduct rounds around the property.
• Ensure daily program/schedule is followed.
• Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes.
• Observe and document medications taken or refused.
• Monitor supervised urinalysis as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff and supervisors.
• Keep staff informed of client challenges or behavioral issues.
• Provide accurate information during shift changes.
• Attend team meetings as scheduled.
• Adapt to schedule changes and de-escalate when needed.
• Maintain ethical and professional boundaries with clients & staff.
• Abide by HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, part-time Residential Aide to join our team in a female Level 3.5 location!

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful, independent living.

Hours:

• Part time
• Friday - 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Sunday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Responsibilities include:

• Is responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
• Ability to conduct regular "rounds" around the entire property.
• Ensures the daily program / schedule is being followed.
• Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
• Observes & documents all clients taking and / or refusing prescribed or over the counter medications.
• Monitor & observe supervised urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
• Communicates in a professional manner with all clients, staff & supervisors.
• Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
• Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
• Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
• Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
• Ability to deescalate.
• Ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
• Understands & abides by HIPAA guidelines / requirements at all times.

Qualifications include:

• Ability to observe, identify, document, & inform others if physical, cognitive & behavioral changes are a concern.
• Understands the field of addiction, mental health & recovery.
• Prior experience in a Behavioral Health setting is a plus.
• Open to learning about & understanding ASAM criteria guidelines, Stages of Change, 12 step recovery, etc.

Pay:

• $17.00/hr.
