Job summary

Recovering Hope Treatment Center in Mora, MN is seeking a part-time Residential Advocate to join our compassionate team. This role offers up to 16 hours per week, with daytime shifts 7am–3pm on Fridays and every other weekend, and pay between $17.00 and $22.85 per hour based on experience.

No experience needed—we provide training to help you start making a real difference. You'll support women and families reclaim their lives from substance use disorders, assist with recovery activities, and

• Comfortable with computers and basic tech.

Responsibilities

• Be a source of hope and encouragement: Help facilitate recovery activities and support clients with daily living tasks.
• Be a role model: Engage with clients, their children, and families with compassion.
• Ensure safety & accountability: Conduct room checks, transport clients, and maintain building security.
• Stay organized: Keep client records updated and handle essential administrative tasks.
• Be part of their journey: Assist with intake, discharge, and visiting hours.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with computers and basic tech

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations.
• Frequently reach above shoulder height to reach necessary items, including supplies, medications, etc.
• Frequently complete repetitive tasks.
• Sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.
