Job summary

Covenant Learning Center in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Part Time Technical dorm supervisor to provide safe, supportive supervision for Job Corps trainees ages 16–24, monitor progress, and model the eight Career Success Standards.

The hourly, non-exempt role involves enforcing rules, keeping dormitories clean and secure, logging events, mentoring students, coordinating with staff, and guiding learners in life skills and career readiness.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Prefer two years' experience in counseling, education, social work, rehabilitation, or vocational guidance.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision to students ages 16–24 to ensure order and discipline in the dormitory.
• Maintain a clean, safe dorm environment and ensure 24‑hour supervision.
• Log and document resident progress, incidents, and relevant data.
• Mentor students and support their transition to work and training activities.
• Coordinate with management, staff, and students to facilitate life skills sessions.
• Ensure adherence to center policies, safety standards, and core-value practices.
