Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking a Residential Advisor at Denison Job Corps Center, Denison, IA. This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $18.00 and up to 29 hours per week within a Service Contract Act position.

You will help provide a safe, structured dorm environment for trainees aged 16–24 and support their progress toward personal and contractual goals. The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license if available, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen per policy.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred; AED certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supportive dormitory environment for Job Corps trainees.
• Supervise dormitory operations in accordance with center policies and procedures.
• Supervise students aged 16–24 to maintain order and discipline.
• Ensure dormitories are supervised 24/7 and rules are followed.
• Maintain accountability of residents and log significant events.
• Mentor students and assist adjustment to Center life; document student records per PRH.
