Denison Job Corps Center, operated by Eckerd Connects, is hiring a Residential Advisor for day shift. The role delivers a safe, supportive dormitory environment for trainees aged 16-24, monitors progress, and enforces center policies throughout 24-hour supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license if preferred, and the ability to pass a drug screen. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and employment requires a background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and prefer AED certification.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• The Residential Advisor provides safe, supportive, and predictable environment in dormitory supervision of Job Corps trainees in their daily activities, monitoring their progress in attaining performance contract goals and objectives and utilizing behavior management and intentional and consistent Core-Value-driven practices.
• The Residential Advisor conducts dormitory operations in accordance with center operating policy and procedures.
• Provides daily supervision to students age 16-24 to ensure good order and discipline are maintained in the dormitory.
• Ensures the dormitories are under supervision 24 hours a day and ensures all rules, policies and procedures are followed by residents.
• Maintains accountability of all residents and logbook entries for any significant events that occur during their shift.
• Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification and acting as a mentor.
• Documents student records according to PRH, inputting all relevant student data.
