Adams and Associates, entrusted with the Shriver Job Corps campus, seeks a Residential Advisor to guide students in respectful group living and personal development. You will facilitate activities, monitor dorms, and maintain daily operation records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with youth, strong communication, teamwork, and physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds. This is a full-time on-site position at the Devens campus.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol and monitor dormitories and center to ensure student safety and proper behavior.
  • Prepare daily operations reports, pass lists, updated case notes, and related administrative documents.
  • Direct students and assist in cleaning and maintenance of the dormitory.
  • Schedule: Friday–Tuesday, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM; Wednesdays and Thursdays off; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include:Assist in unit activities, as designated, including unit government, facilitate student groups, and promote student independent living skills.Patrol and monitor dormitories and center as required ensuring safety and proper behavior of students; resolve potential or occurring problems.Prepare the daily operations report, pass list, updated case notes in system, and other administrative correspondence relating to students.Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory.ScheduleFriday-Tuesday, 3:00 PM-12:00 AM, Wednesdays & Thursdays offOvertime available as needed.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience working with youth required, residential experience preferred but not necessary.A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred.Eager to learn, highly adaptable, and a natural problem-solver.Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.
