If you are a natural leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!What You’ll Do (Your Impact):Mentor & Guide: Provide daily guidance, conduct group sessions, and teach essential independent living skills to help students build positive behaviors and reach their personal goals.Cultivate Community: Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive dormitory culture by encouraging positive peer leadership and student-led unit government activities.Ensure Safety & Well-being: Patrol and monitor the dorms and center grounds, proactively resolving conflicts and strictly upholding the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance Policy.Coordinate Support: Assess student needs, recommend counseling when necessary, and maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes and files in our center information system.Manage Dorm Operations: Keep the community running smoothly by directing student cleanup/maintenance, reporting daily operations, and ordering necessary living supplies.What You Bring:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required (Advanced degrees are preferred!).Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in Job Corps or a related youth development/residential program.License: A valid in-state Driver’s License is highly preferred.Core Strengths: Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to model professional career success standards for our students.Commitment: Regular, predictable attendance is essential, along with the flexibility to work directed overtime when needed to support our community.Physical Requirements:This is an active role that keeps you on your feet and engaged with our campus.
