Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors while managing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, and report unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate according to procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel; document observations.
