Job summary

Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. is seeking an OMH-Resident Wellness Coordinator to provide rehabilitation and recovery services to residents in NYSOMH programs. This role involves counseling, advocacy and case management.

Qualifications

• At least two years relevant mental health, substance abuse or human service experience required.
• Ability to travel throughout the five boroughs as needed.
• Regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand, & sit and lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, restorative services for OMH Residential clients.
• Prepare contact notes and documentation following NYSOMH regulations.
• Develop wellness goals and activities with input from residents and staff.
• Participate in weekly supervision, case conferences and staff meetings.
