Job summary
Village On The Isle in Venice, FL is seeking a Health & Fitness Coach to provide one-on-one personal training to residents and support Wellness & Programming for the community. This safety-sensitive role also manages Wellness Center operations and daily upkeep, and can lead group fitness classes.
The ideal candidate holds a nationally recognized CPT certification, BLS/CPR/AED, and a degree in Exercise Science or related field, with 3–5 years experience with older adults.
Qualifications
- Certified Personal Coach (CPT) through a nationally accredited organization is required.
- BLS/CPR/AED certification required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Health Promotion/Wellness preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years working with older adults or senior wellness preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one personal training focusing on strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.
- Perform fitness assessments to tailor individualized programs.
- Lead related group fitness classes and support wellness programming.
- Maintain Wellness Center operations, safety, and cleanliness.
- Educate residents on proper form and holistic wellness.
