East Ridge Village in Cutler Bay, FL seeks a Full-Time Wellness Coordinator to develop and implement health, well-being, and engagement programs across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Support.

The role includes scheduling classes such as Strength and Conditioning, Aquatic Fitness, Fitness, Balance and Flexibility, and Circuit Training, and forming partnerships with local health professionals to expand programming.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and/or Exercise/Sports Science is required.
• 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Personal Training Certification.
• Must be CPR certified by an accredited training center.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate the health and fitness interests and abilities of residents and plan appropriate activities.
• Create a consistent course schedule including Strength and Conditioning, Aquatic Fitness, Fitness, Balance and Flexibility, and Circuit Training.
• Network with exercise and health professionals to build partnerships for additional programming.
• Promote the Wellness mission through teamwork and engaging programs for all residents.
• Schedule monthly information sessions to promote continued learning and participation.
• Create monthly health/wellness/fitness newsletter inserts as requested.
• Ensure fitness equipment is clean, working, and organized daily in all locations.

Educación
