Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior care experience in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
• Preferred CNAs certification.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Health screening, TB clearance and criminal record clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor medication administration and audits of medication records.
• Order medications from pharmacy and maintain records.
• Schedule Personal Care Assistants and develop daily tasks.
• Maintain resident charts and care plans; update medical charts.
• Act as shift point of contact with supervisors, doctors, and families.
• Ensure emergency packets are current and supplies stocked.
• Attend in-service training and follow safety procedures.
