Job summary

The Glades at Championsgate is seeking a Wellness Associate to support residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and coordinate with the Wellness Director. You will provide compassionate care, assist with meals and mobility, and help maintain a safe, clean living environment.

You’ll work closely with the Wellness Director and team, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a culture of excellence in elder care.

Qualifications

• Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assists Residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility if needed.
• Maintains an awareness of each Resident’s general health and reports changes to the Wellness Director.
• Assists with inventory of medical supplies and ordering when necessary.
• Responds to Resident emergencies; provides first-aid and arranges follow-up care.
• Maintains records and files according to policy.
• Participates in in‑service education and supports shift coverage as needed.
